Throughout the entire program, interns undergo performance monitoring, which contributes to increasing the chances of hiring, improving productivity and encouraging innovation.

Applications will be accepted from university students from more than 25 degree courses. The complete list is available on the program's website. Steps in the recruitment process include online assessment through Tests of Reason, English and Fit Cultural.

An example is the 24-year-old civil engineer Géssyca Silva, who was hired in August of this year after completing the internship program. Among the initiatives she developed while she was an intern, the professional highlights an instrumentation and monitoring project that was adopted by the geotechnics area of Hydro Paragominas. Now, together with five other professionals, all women, she is part of the company's geotechnical area. And Gessyca is constantly improving. She is taking a specialization course in the field of geotechnics as a result of a partnership between Hydro and the Federal University of Pará (UFPA, in Portuguese). For the engineer, the dream of working in a large company was fulfilled. “I dreamed of working at the company and it was the internship that opened doors for me. Here I was able to learn from excellent professionals and I am very fulfilled professionally”, she says.

Another participant in the program is Maria Eduarda Borges Rocha, 22, who was selected by the program in 2020. The university student, who is in the 8th semester of the Administration course, says that her internship at a large company in the aluminium sector helped her develop various technical skills such as leadership, management and analytical skills. She works in the back office area, which is responsible for administrative and financial routines, purchasing processes, in addition to contract management. According to the student, the internship provided a lot of learning and encouraged her to look for new courses to train and develop creativity. “The internship helped to develop skills and encouraged me to study programming, a course that I didn't have on my curriculum. I believe that the internship is a great opportunity for those starting their professional life, as it helps to develop what we are learning in college and shows us that we can collaborate with new ideas for the company”, says the student.

Those selected will receive a market-compatible scholarship, in addition to food ticket, transport vouchers, health insurance and life insurance. The internship lasts for 1 year and can be renewed for another year if the intern is still graduating. At the end, the intern receives a certificate of participation.

Talento Infinito is a partner of Instituto Evaldo Lodi (IEL), which integrates the “S” System and aims to promote School-Company interaction through its various programs, including supervised internship for students. The program was structured with the objective of effectively contributing to the development of young people, including training, mentoring for mentors, monthly meetings with HR and podcasts.
