Minera Startup, Hydro's relationship program with startups in Pará , announces on Friday (19) the 10 startups selected to present their projects through pitches to representatives of different sectors of the company, on February 23. After a careful analysis by professionals from Hydro and Açai Valley ( Paraense Association of Technology & Innovation), the following organizations were chosen: Easy Gestor, Educaflix, Inteceleri Tecnologia, Ludus Studio, Machlab, Navtech Solutions, Neo Road, Pimpos Health, See -o-Fruit and Vigha.

The criteria for selecting startups took into account, among other aspects, the potential to become a supplier of digital solutions for companies in Pará . Initiatives were chosen from the Education, Digital Transformation, Health, Management, Biotech and Transport segments.

The second edition of the program had 25 startups registered, more than triple the number of registrations compared to the previous year. “Our goal is to contribute to fostering innovation in Pará through the consolidation of startups as suppliers of digital solutions, expanding access to the local and national market”, says Leôncio Rodrigues, Hydro's Digital Solutions manager.

The startup operates in entrepreneurial education. It develops materials that teach small businesses how to perform small processes (how to issue invoices, how to open a company, inventory management, among others). The startup's idea is to bring small companies closer to new technologies and large companies.

Educaflix is an online teaching and learning platform. Teachers and instructors can create an unlimited number of courses, with video lessons, documents and any educational material.

Inteceleri (https://www.inteceleri.com.br/)

The startup works to create innovative solutions that contribute to the increase of basic educational indexes in Brazil. Founded in the state of Pará, Inteceleri has already implemented projects in the North and Northeast regions, and its expansion is advancing towards the Southeast, South and Midwest regions. Inteceleri is an official teacher trainer in the implementation of the Google for Education platform and served approximately 6 thousand teachers.

Ludus Studio (ludustudio.com).

Ludus Studio is an Interactive Technology company, located in Belém do Pará, which operates in Digital Transformation. Its focus is to expand the potential of products and services in companies from different market segments through the virtual world. The startup works with Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, interactive simulations, 3D and virtual models. Its goal is to transform the creative potential of products and services to solve problems, validate projects and boost sales.

Machlab ( www.machlab.com.br )

The startup operates in the Digital Transformation segment by solving business problems through data science. Machlab offers solutions in engineering and data analysis with machine learning. The result: the startup builds analytical solutions with the capacity to generate value for companies. The startup wants to establish itself in the Amazon regional market as a technology company in data science solutions.

Navtech Solutions (https://appuba.com.br /)

Navtech is a company with the objective of developing technologies that make transportation in the Amazon more efficient, bringing innovation to processes and applying technologies in this area. The startup wants to change the view of society and Amazon companies on this type of transport. One of its products is the Ubá app, which makes life easier for people who need to travel by boat, with schedules, online ticket purchases and choice of origin and destination.

Neo Road

This is a platform for agile learning and assertive competence measurement. On the platform, it is possible to analyze the profile of each employee, culturally the company and establish comparisons between the current and desired skills for the company to achieve its objectives. Through it it is also possible to create personalized training with a focus on the necessary skills, developing the employee.

Pimpos Health (https://www.pimposhealth.com/)

The startup created an integrated Child Health monitoring platform that connects parents to health professionals and services. It provides technological tools and information that support parents and professionals to preventively care for children's health.

See-the-Fruit

The startup aims to use technology as a tool in the application of best environmental management practices, positively impacting society. One of the company's products is a gravitational filter water treatment system made with activated charcoal and fruit seeds from the Amazon.

Vigha (https://www.vighapp.com/)

Vigha is a platform created for the management of works. According to the startup, this is a simple, intuitive and assertive solution that facilitates the work of those involved. Through the platform, the person in charge has total control over the work.

Selection process - the initial stage of Minera Startup is a selection process, in which a series of requirements are evaluated, such as having a team of at least two members aged 18 or over and having solutions preferably aimed at Augmented Reality, Digital Office , Internet of Things (IoT) applied in the industrial environment, among others.

Structured program focused on business solutions - Minera Startup is a collaboration between Hydro, Açaí Valley and startups. The program has seven stages of integration, and at the end, startups that present solutions that meet the defined scope can sign a contract with Hydro. The steps are:

Conducting the "pitch", where startups present their proposals for solutions and business models for various Hydro areas and professionals;

Disclosure of selected startups to advance the discussion of possible proofs of concepts with Hydro's areas that have shown interest;

Presentation, for the selected startups, of the existing challenges in each interested area, and discussion of a possible scope for carrying out the proof of concept;

Definition of the scope of the proof of concept between startup and Hydro's internal area;

Delivery of the technical and commercial proposal for the proof of concept;

Evaluation of Hydro's supplier prerequisites and hiring process for the startup to perform the proof of concept;

Execution of proof of concept at Hydro as defined scope.
