Albras signed new contracts for the supply of the special alloy PFA (Primary Foundry Alloy) to manufacturers of light alloy wheels for the automotive market.

As a result, Albras, based in Barcarena, reinforces its production plan of around 14,000 tons of PFA in 2022.

The PFA was developed as a higher added value item, aimed at serving the automotive industry and manufactured from primary aluminum with the addition of four elements: silicon, magnesium, strontium and titanium.
