The Hydro site in Swabia shares the TOP health management award with Hilti Kunststofftechnik and Continental Automotive.

With the TOP Health Management Award initiative, TG LifeConcept® and vbw are promoting company health management with the support of the Bavarian State Ministry for Labor and Social Order, Family and Women (StMAS). Companies are rated in three categories, including health management, promotion and kilometers.

Professor Randolf Rodenstock, President of vbw, honored the winners with certificates for occupational health management. “Fit, healthy and motivated employees are an important prerequisite for the sustainable success of a company. Occupational health management is an increasing competitive factor and part of securing skilled workers, ”says Rodenstock.

Strong culture

The Bellenberg plant belongs to the Eurasia extrusion division and is managed together with the press plant in Nenzing, Austria.

Gerold Trommelschläger, head of the Nenzing / Bellenberg unit, congratulated plant manager Florian Kainz and HR representative Gudrun Christofzik as well as the entire team at the German location for winning the prize.

In 2010, the Nenzing plant was one of the main prize winners in the competition of the European Aluminum Association EAA for security solutions. In addition, the plant has been offering programs that focus directly on the health of its employees for almost ten years. This includes fitness training, nutrition, medical health checks and help with individual concerns.
