The on-boarding in summer 2015 was a complete success. Our trainees, who started this year, got to know better as a company and, of course, themselves within the three-day program Hydro. This was the start of a successful trainee program. Fortunately, we can offer nine trainee positions again this year. The factories in Grevenbroich and Hamburg, the Rheinwerk in Neuss and our R&D in Bonn are also included. If you feel ready to start your professional life after successfully completing your studies, you should definitely apply. We are looking for economists, engineers, materials scientists, materials engineers, metallurgists, security technicians & amp; comparable disciplines.

The trainee program at Hydro lasts 15 to 18 months. In addition to the on-boarding mentioned above, the trainees also go through other stations, whether sharing experiences or various trainings such as the “Hydro Fundamentals” seminar in Norway, which lasts several days. Carsten Schütz, HR Manager at Hydro Aluminum Rolled Products in Grevenbroich, is very satisfied with the trainees' developments so far. “All four trainees who were able to complete their program this year are now working in a challenging and varied target position at Hydro. The feedback from our trainees started in 2015 is also excellent. Everyone was able to contribute well, have already received great feedback from the organization and can fully recommend the trainee program. ”
