Aluminerie Alouette

Hydro owns 20 percent of the Alumineria Alouette primary aluminium plant, which is located in Sept-Îles, in the province of Québec.

foundry alloys

The plant produces primary aluminium on two prebake lines. After its 2005 expansion, Alouette emerged as the largest aluminium plant in North America and one of the lowest operating-cost primary aluminium plants in the world.
