Key experience:

In Hydro since 1991 and held several senior management positions in the aluminium business area – as President of Automotive Structures (1996-2001), President of Metal Products (2004-2006) and Head of Energy since 2010
Responsible for strategy and business development in the aluminium area and on the corporate level in several periods
Project leader for the process that resulted in the oil and gas merger with Statoil (December 2006)
State Secretary and Chief of staff in the Norwegian Prime Minister’s office (1989-1990)

Chair of the Board in Norway’s Export Council (Norsk Eksportråd) (since July 2021)

Education:

Master's degree in business economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (Bergen, Norway 1983)
