With the initiative, the Körber Foundation is awarding 50 times 5,000 euros for innovative projects in a large ideas competition. This is doubled by 50 partner companies from the Hamburg economy. A total of 500,000 euros are available for 50 non-profit Hamburg projects.

Hydro's Hamburg plant was one of the first 12 companies to make a decision - and is therefore one of the starting partners.

Plant manager Dr. Axel Brand says why: “Communities arise from cooperation. This is how we get involved beyond the company and our industry, promote education and upbringing - and have enthusiastically joined the great project of the Körber Foundation as a partner. ”This commitment also reflects the Hydro's mission .

Existing or new non-profit initiatives and associations, schools, social institutions and initiatives in the fields of education, upbringing, art, culture, international understanding, youth and elderly care and the environment in the federal state of Hamburg can apply until the end of March. p>

TV presenter Jörg Pilawa remains "instigate!" connected as a member of the jury that will select the sponsorship award winners. “Instigate!” Is also supported by the Chamber of Commerce and the Hamburg Chamber of Crafts.
