The delivery times for unpainted strips and sheets are currently in the range of several months, depending on the quality and dimensions, and sometimes extend to May 2011.

The adjustments for thicker standard sheets and strips will be moderate. The price structure for thinner rolled products, on the other hand, is adjusted to the high utilization of the aggregates. In future, surcharges will be charged for all products below 2 mm compared to the base price. For strips and sheets from 0.3 to 1.9 mm, these are between 30 and 600 euros per ton.

In addition, local prices will be leveled in the second quarter. Because in recent months, some markets have developed at a relatively low price level, even though these countries have developed relatively well industrially compared to other European countries.

Hydro also expects a good market for rolled aluminum products in Europe in the second quarter of 2011. A constantly high capacity of standard products is provided for this good demand.
