They chose aluminium
It is not uncommon to hear that clients can be the best ambassadors. At Hydro Extrusion France, and particularly during the health crisis, we think it is important to highlight the actors who have contributed to the fight against Covid-19, while innovating.
Like hydro-alcoholic gels and masks, gel dispensers have appeared in quantity in recent months to help fight against the spread of coronavirus. CITYNOX, a company based in the South East of France, has designed its own gel dispenser : ILONA . The product was quickly developed in aluminium for several reasons:
- The CITYNOX teams favored aluminium on this project in order to reduce the weight of the whole solution. This makes a lighter product, easier to transport and quicker to install.
- Beyond the optimization in terms of material, one of the main criteria was the deadline. As many companies were closed, our reopening allowed our teams to deliver these profiles in time for CITYNOX to organize the most efficient distribution on the French market. Considering the health context, one of the customer's wishes was to have a reliable and fast supply chain: an operation that was possible thanks to our four plants.
- The complementary nature of our extrusion sites as well as the different services provided were of great interest to CITYNOX, which also appreciated the agility of our teams.
After the success of these gel distributors, CITYNOX and Hydro wish to continue their collaboration.
