Flow drilling

Better known, the blind rivet nut is very often used on the products we make. However, other more economical options exist and can become interesting alternatives.

Where mechanical performance allows, flow drilling can be an alternative to rivet nuts. Thanks to specific tooling and machining conditions, we are able to upsetting the material on our machining units in order to increase the thread grip.

The advantage of this solution? It does not require the use of add-on parts and additional assembly operations. The operation is carried out in a single operation on the machining unit.

However, if it is not necessary to position the screw in the profile axis, you can integrate a groove nut directly into the design of your profile.
