“I am surprised that certain media have indicated that I not have been crystal clear about this matter,” states Vareberg.
“I have repeatedly affirmed the board’s full support for Reiten and have made it very clear that the board has not discussed this question, because the factual basis of the so-called Libya issue does not raise the problem.”
“But if anyone should still be in any doubt about the position of a unanimous Hydro board of directors in this matter, I repeat that we have every trust in Eivind Reiten,” states Vareberg.
