Cost increases affect Hydro’s second quarter results
Norsk Hydro ASA expects to report an underlying EBIT of approximately NOK 1.6 billion for the second quarter compared to an underlying EBIT of NOK 2.0 billion in the first quarter. Hydro to invest EUR 14 million in recycling at Alunorf, Germany
Hydro will invest EUR 14.3 million in a new aluminium recycling furnace in Germany, with an output capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year. The twin-chamber furnace will be part of a new recycling center at Alunorf, a joint venture between Hydro and Novelis in Neuss, German.April 3, 2008
