Because partnerships between metal suppliers and customers are becoming more and more important, we have organized our technical and commercial service elements, provided by our regional market teams, in the Hydro Billet Plus incentive program in Europe.
Hydro Billet Plus is similar to a frequent flyer program, in that customers are ranked according to volumes and Hydro supply share. The greater the business activity between Hydro and the customers, the more comprehensive level of service they receive.
Hydro does not stop at a commodity level, which is the traditional approach in our industry. Instead, we see ourselves as a metal service provider, able to integrate more fully into the value chain.
