A long, narrow T-slot travels along the length of the extrusion, making it possible to position fasteners, panels and other components or accessories. Some extrusion profiles have one T-slot per side. On other extrusions, you may find a T-slot on only one or two of the sides, leaving smooth surfaces on the other sides for exceptionally clean installations. These would ordinarily be called mono-slots or bi-slots. Wider profile extrusions can accommodate two, three or four T-slots on each side, opening up infinite project design possibilities.

T-slots are easy to assemble with standard tools and fasteners and require no welding. This makes it possible to adjust design configurations as needed. T-slots come in smooth and grooved profiles, and are available in standard and custom colors. Attachments, such as panels, can be inserted and fastened in place with a gasket. However, T-slots can be used to hold wiring (similar to conduit), or to hang containers or tools.

Common applications for T-slot aluminum include office workstations and enclosures, machine enclosures, safety guards, perimeter guards, stairs, platforms and material handling carts. T-slots provide a cost-effective way to create an aluminum frame of any kind that can be used to attach panels, wire mesh, screens, etc. They are ideal solutions for manufacturing, automotive, and medical industry uses. T-slots help create safe, comfortable and attractive workplace environments, but have a myriad of other uses.
