Post-consumer schroot is aluminium dat al een "leven" heeft geleefd - misschien in een raamkozijn of een blikje - en nu is gerecycled om er iets nieuws van te maken. De meest CO2-efficiënte gerecyclede aluminiumproducten zijn die gemaakt van post-consumer schroot.
