Hydro has collaborated, through its Irurtzun plant, with Cáritas Pamplona, by donating computer equipment and other materials for school use that will be destined for children from families that the entity supports through its accompaniment service.

This donation comes at a very necessary moment, since in the last few months thousands of children have been unable to study remotely due to the lack of devices to follow virtual classes.

In this way, Hydro seeks to help reduce the technological gap of these families, so that they can have the necessary technological resources and continue to make possible their learning and educational development.

For Ana Vázquez, Vice President of Hydro Extrusion in Spain and Portugal, “Care, Courage and Collaboration are Hydro's corporate values. These values guide us in our activity and the daily relationship with our clients and collaborators, but they are also applicable to what we can contribute as a global company in the local communities where Hydro is present ”.

For her part, Maite Quintana, Secretary General of Cáritas Pamplona, stressed that “this service involves intense work with families in various areas of their lives. Some objectives and a work plan are agreed that may involve accompaniment for 6 months, 6 years, or a lifetime. The essential thing is the link and reference that is created from Cáritas, making the educational process possible ”.

Through this action, Hydro consolidates its collaboration commitment beyond supplying aluminum solutions, as has been the case with the numerous donations made during this health crisis.
