Enjoy pure life - with the new Pure parasols from Bahama
The temperatures are rising, the sun is shining - summer is just around the corner. What could be nicer than lying in the sun with an ice-cold drink and an interesting book and feeling the sun's rays on your face? What shouldn't be missing? A suitable shade provider that protects us from heat and UV rays and also convinces with its modern look.
With the new entry-level model "Pure", the Bahama company from Reichshof offers a modern and contemporary parasol as a new development that will round off the existing product range in the future. 20 different model sizes, round, square or even rectangular models and all the options for digital printing on the textile membrane make this parasol the ideal "must-have" for the summer.
Innovative products of outstanding quality "Made in Germany" - that's what the Bahama brand has stood for worldwide for years. Almost all components are produced in-house at the Reichshof site. Carl Becher laid the foundation for this successful company in 1950. However, the beginnings of the company's history were not in the development of large umbrellas, but in the manufacture of tarpaulins and tents. The company realized the first fully synthetic tarpaulins for trucks in Germany using complex welding techniques. Today, the company designs and produces high-quality and diverse large umbrellas and sun sails.
“Bahama stands for the highest quality and modern design. If you look closely, you can see that the Bahama umbrellas can be found in many hotels and restaurants,” says Thomas Mayer, Hydro's area sales manager. Among others, the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the Hotel Sacher in Vienna and the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, USA, all rely on the large screens from Bahama.
Reduced design and sustainability as a future focus
The Pure model not only impresses with its puristic design and variety of designs, but also the protection of our environment was the focus of this model. Bahama not only wants to protect its customers from heat and UV radiation, but also reduce the impact on the environment.
With the previous models, attention was paid to materials that are more environmentally friendly, with the "Pure" Bahama goes one step further and uses Hydro REDUXA for the parasol pole.
"We want to continue to advance the topic of sustainability and with Hydro we also have a great partner at our side," says Natalie Karis, Head of Marketing & Communications at Bahama.
"One of our great strengths is one that is rarely seen."
A simple tube is usually used for a parasol mast, not so with Bahama. Complex profiles are used there. This has several advantages:
- The functionality of the screen is supported invisibly, eg cables are routed through the mast and thus permanently protected.
- The ingenious mechanisms for opening and closing the umbrella are precisely guided in the profile geometry.
- The reinforced mast profile leads to increased stability of the entire glider. This means that the parasols can be used with smaller mast diameters without losing wind stability.
20th anniversary of a close partnership
Bahama and Hydro are linked by a decade-long bond, which has now been further expanded for the new Pure model. “We have maintained a very close and trusting working relationship with Bahama for many years. Next year we will celebrate our 20 years of cooperation. That's something to be proud of. With new developments, as with the "Pure", we support you with advice and action together with our application technology. In the future, we will supply all aluminum profiles for the new model, including the spokes," says Thomas Mayer.
And Bahama is also happy about the long partnership. “We appreciate Hydro above all for their high level of flexibility and support as well as the high level of service ,” says Ms. Karis.
With such a good cooperation one can be curious about what will come next. But first, summer can come to the terrace with the “Pure” parasol.
