The decision to sell Hydro’s 65 percent stake in the joint venture is part of the overall review in Extruded Solutions, aiming to optimize and streamline the portfolio.
The transaction was completed on January 20, 2020.
The manufacturing plant in Ho Chi Minh City was part of the Extruded Solutions business area, has around 230 employees and produces around 3,500 tonnes per year, mainly for the building and industrial segments.
