The terms of reference for contracting independent audits were delivered, the work plans that will guide the audits; the result of an internal audit regarding the drainage system and the evaluation of the efficiency of containment of windrows provisionally built to contain effluents from the control basins of the DRS1 bauxite waste deposit.

The audits will have as their object of their work, among other topics, soil evaluation and project evaluation of the DRS1 and DRS2 waste deposits.

Other commitments provided for in the agreement and already fulfilled by Hydro and Alunorte are the payment of R $ 33 million in fines and a deposit of R $ 250 million as a guarantee for compliance with the terms agreed with the Government of the State of Pará and the Federal and State Public Ministries.
