Hydro and Albras sponsor the 1st edition of the Festival Verde, which takes place on August 7th, starting at 4 pm. The event is intended to raise awareness about sustainability and environmental conservation, especially in the Amazon region. Festival Verde will feature debate panels, with the participation of digital influencers from Pará, and musical shows by Joelma, Lia Sophia, Thiago Costa and DJ Waldo Squash, with the participation of Maderito, ex-Gang do Eletro. The program will be completely online and can be followed, free of charge, on the event's hotsite.

The Festival Verde is produced by Embrasesc, sponsored by Hydro and Albras, through the Culture Incentive Law of the Special Secretariat for Culture and the Ministry of Tourism.

For Alessandra Fonseca, Communication director at Hydro in South America, the Festival Verde is a space to debate sustainability on a daily basis. “We believe in the importance of encouraging projects that seek to value local culture and we understand that music and the environment play a prominent role in Pará's identity”, he comments.

The event will be presented by singer Juliana Sinimbú and will start with three debate panels: fashion and conscious consumption, with influencers Layse Sinatra and Larissa Couto; sustainable habits, with Luly Mendonça and Trisha Guimarães, creator of the profile @acasacomoelae; and, finally, a chat about sustainable decoration with the architect Manoel Netto and, again, Trisha Guimarães.

Then, Festival Verde brings the musical presentations of the program. The first to take the stage will be Joelma, who promises to sing the biggest hits of her career. Soon after, it will be Lia Sophia's turn, who will present her new work, the album “Eletrocarimbó” with new tracks and remixes of songs already known to the public. The night will also feature shows by the countryman Thiago Costa and DJ Waldo Squash, the latter with the participation of Maderito, ex-Gang do Eletro.

On the hotsite , in addition to the link to the Festival Verde broadcast, the public will also find educational tests, sustainability tips and more information about the event and its attractions. For the event, the production will comply with all prevention protocols and guidelines from health authorities to ensure the protection of the technical team and attractions in relation to Covid-19. Among the initiatives will be the use of face masks, distancing, physical protection barriers, in addition to rapid testing (RT-PCR) by health professionals, before the event, in the entire technical team of the event.
