Beginning this month, Hydro's Vice President of Government Relations, Anderson Baranov, is the new president of the Union of Mineral Industries of the State of Pará (Simineral). Upon assuming the presidency of the entity, in which he previously served as secretary director, he also automatically became the sector's representative at the Federation of Industries of the State of Pará (FIEPA) and the Thematic Council of Mining of the National Confederation of Industry (COMIN-CNI).

Hydro's participation in the class entities in Pará, where it has three operating plants, strengthens the dialogue with the authorities and communities in the region, as well as its commitment to the development of the territories where it operates.
