Norsk Hydro ASA will change the structure and composition of its Corporate Management Board, effective August 15, to reflect the company's strategic agenda.
Metal Markets and Primary Metal will be organized under the leadership of Executive Vice President (EVP) Hilde Merete Aasheim.
Metal Markets will continue to be reported as a separate reporting segment. The changes will ensure a realization of even more synergies between the two business areas.
Kjetil Ebbesberg, EVP and currently head of Metal Markets, will take on the job as plant manager of the Holmestrand rolling mill in Norway.
The Projects business area and EVP Tom Røtjer, today part of Corporate Management Board, will report to EVP and head of Energy Arvid Moss.
The announced changes will take effect on August 15 and will reduce the number of members of Corporate Management Board from 10 to 8.
