In addition to foundry alloys based on recycled aluminium, Hydro Gorzyce also offers high-quality master alloys, AlTiB wire for grain refinement, aluminium for steel deoxidation, as well as fluxes and salts. About 80 percent of Gorzyce’s customers represent the automotive industry.
Built between 2005 and 2007 by the Polish aluminium recycling company Alumetal Group, the Gorzyce plant was expanded in several stages before the acquisition of Alumetal by Hydro in 2023. The plant was rebranded as a Hydro facility in January 2026.
