The hybrid power purchase agreement (PPA) with Varberg Energi is an innovative way of securing a more balanced delivery profile, reducing variability and securing stable supply from intermittent renewable energy sources for industrial consumption. At the same time, the structure serves as proof of concept, with the ambition of paving the way for similar solutions across the market.

An important part of the collaboration is a structured exchange of knowledge and information between the parties. The focus lies on how different energy resources and technology can be combined and optimized to meet industry’s needs for long-term, competitive, and sustainable power supply.

The hybrid PPA secures a total supply of 10 GWh of power in SE3 over an 18 month period. Deliveries started in July 2026.
